The auction house’s description

A Century of Exquisite Design brings together 505 lots led by an exceptional concentration of British and European ceramics, art pottery, porcelain, and decorative glass. Wedgwood, Royal Doulton, Moorcroft, and Weller Pottery are especially prominent, with the catalog spanning distinctive forms, glazes, patterns, and designs from across their histories.

Wedgwood offerings range from majolica and creamware to Black Basalt, Jasperware, Fairyland Lustre, and Art Deco designs, including works associated with Daisy Makeig-Jones, Keith Murray, Norman Wilson, John Skeaping, and Arnold Machin. Royal Doulton is represented by figurines, character jugs, Bunnykins, Flambe and Sung wares, prototypes, experimental colorways, and Doulton Lambeth stoneware. Moorcroft selections include Pomegranate, Anemone, Hibiscus, Wisteria, and numerous limited edition, trial, and artist-designed pieces, while Weller Pottery appears in an extensive assortment of vases, bowls, jardinieres, wall pockets, and other art pottery.

The collection extends beyond pottery with Baccarat crystal, Lladro porcelain, Royal Worcester, Royal Copenhagen, Cobridge Stoneware, Roseville Pottery, Charles Field Haviland Limoges, Dennis Chinaworks, and additional studio and decorative works. From Art Deco figures and animal sculptures to richly glazed vessels, character pieces, tableware, and crystal, A Century of Exquisite Design presents a focused survey of craftsmanship and decorative innovation across 505 individual lots.
