These terms apply to your use of auction-hawk.com (“Auction Hawk”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What Auction Hawk is
Auction Hawk is an auction discovery directory for the United States. We list upcoming auctions and the auction houses running them so you can find sales in one place. We are not an auction house: we do not run sales, take bids, collect payment for lots, or ship items. Every auction, and any contract to buy or sell a lot, is between you and the auction house or bidding platform running that sale.
Listing information
Auction details, lots, photos and descriptions come from the auction houses themselves and from their public online catalogs. We work to keep them accurate and current, but dates, lots and terms can change without notice. Always check the auction house’s own catalog and terms of sale (including buyer’s premium, sales tax, payment, pickup and shipping) before you bid.
Links to other sites
Listings link to auction house websites and bidding platforms that we do not control. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. Some links carry a referral tag that identifies traffic sent from Auction Hawk; it does not change what you pay.
Accounts
A free account lets you save favorite auctions and auction houses and receive reminder emails. Keep your password private, give accurate details, and tell us at info@auction-hawk.com if you think your account has been misused. You can close your account at any time.
Auction houses
Auction houses that register agree to provide accurate information about their business and sales, and confirm they have the right to publish the text and images they upload. Fees for publishing auctions directly, where they apply, are shown before you pay and are charged securely through our payment provider. We may review, edit for formatting, decline or remove listings that are inaccurate, unlawful or that breach these terms.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site: no attempts to disrupt it or gain unauthorized access, no bulk scraping that places an unreasonable load on it, and no use of the site for anything unlawful, misleading or infringing.
Content and trademarks
The Auction Hawk name, logo and site design belong to us. Auction houses’ names, logos, listings and images belong to them or their licensors. If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, email info@auction-hawk.com with the page address and details, and we will review it promptly.
Disclaimers and liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the accuracy or availability of listings, and we are not liable for any loss arising from an auction, a lot, an auction house’s conduct, or your reliance on listing information. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
