Extraordinary lifelong collection from Catawba Island on Lake Erie, Ohio of over 200 Nautical paintings, ornate 19th Century scrimshaw, Napoleonic Prison of War carved ships models and guillotine, 30 whale bone and ivory canes, and many other maritime accessories. Artists to include Montigue Dawson, Jakob de Louthenberg, Lai Fong, 2 Antonio Jacobsen, multiples of John Carmichael, Nicholas Pocock, Thomas Buttersworth and many more English and American Artist. Also included in this sale is the second half of the Sarasota collector to include more Greek and Roman items, early Egyptian and middle eastern items, 40 plus lots of Pre-Columbian pottery, 70 plus swords of Viking up to WWII era, stunning WWI and WWII uniform and helmets, and other military items of interest. This auction also includes 5 Rolex watches, Camille Eclipse upright slot machine and 4 other slots, stunning carved carousel rabbit and pig, Georg Jensen candlesticks, Tiffany sterling flatware, Louis Vuitton cube trunk, 4 impressive Oriental carpets, period English and American furniture, important bronzes, Mid Century art and furnishings, ships masthead, German Lusterweibchen chandelier, and as always too much more to list.
