On October 25 the Eagles Corps Militaria Auction opens with a rare D-Day T-5 parachute rig and an 82nd Airborne reinforced jump jacket?true combat-airborne pieces that still carry the weight of the drop?then climbs into an extraordinary run of WWI and WWII aviation uniforms, flight gear, and named groups: cockpit helmets, bullion and theater-made wings, pilot and aircrew groupings, RAF, USAAF, and Luftwaffe flying kit that collectors wait years to see together. The steel of the ground war is here in force as well, with a serious offering of WWII German helmets from early double-decal M35s and combat-worn M40s to Fallschirmj?ger and camouflage examples, joined by rare medals crowned by an 1813 Prussian Iron Cross First and Second Class.
