Alderfer Auction's September Fine Art & Mid-Century Modern Auction features an exceptional collection of fine art, luxury Swiss timepieces, estate jewelry to feature a GIA 3.10 carat diamond, sterling silver, and important period furniture. Fine art highlights include works by iconic artists Alice Neel, Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro, James Rizzi, Salvador Dal?, and Erte, as well as a strong showing of Pennsylvania Impressionist paintings by Walter Emerson Baum, John Fulton Folinsbee, Maurice de Vlaminck, and Walter Elmer Schofield. Watch and jewelry collectors will find Swiss timepieces from Patek Philippe, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and Breitling, along with fine gemstone jewelry set in platinum and gold. Standout decor includes Rosenthal – Versace porcelain and crystal, Murano and Iitala glass, Bernard Leach pottery, and bronze sculptures by Robert MacDonald and Antonio Salemme. Extensive sterling silver flatware and hollowware from makers like Gorham and Wallace, Rosenthal Versace porcelain, and standout furniture led by a George Nakashima Frenchman's Cove II dining table, an R.J.
