The auction house’s description

This auction presents a richly varied collection spanning fine art, Asian antiques, and decorative objects. Standout modern and contemporary works include pieces by Alice Baber, Syd Solomon, Sam Gilliam, Roy Lichtenstein, Joan Mir?, Peter Max, Pino Daeni, Mark Ryden, and Romero Britto, alongside abstract expressionist and figurative paintings. A notable strength is Vietnamese art, featuring lacquer panels and screens by artists such as Nguyen Sien, Nguyen Van Minh, and Tran Van Ha, plus oils and watercolors by mid- to late-20th-century Vietnamese painters. Chinese and East Asian antiques are well represented through porcelain (blue-and-white, celadon, famille rose), stoneware, jade, bronze vessels, and scholarly objects. Additional highlights include WPA-era prints by James E. Allen, works by Reginald Marsh and Stanley William Hayter, Tibetan thangkas, European and American landscapes and still lifes, plus decorative items such as Lalique and Daum glass, Waterford crystal, Oriental rugs, and bronzes. The sale offers collectors a compelling mix of blue-chip modern names, regional Asian material, and accessible decorative arts.
