Notably, the sale will include part three of Royal Worcester Porcelain From the Estate of Stuart Brown, an extensive collection of fresh-to-market wares spanning the many decades of production by the company. Examples rarely seen on the market will be offered. Other categories, including fine jewelry, silver, European fine & decorative arts, Americana, Asian and ethnographic fine and decorative arts, collectibles, American art, and modern and contemporary art and design, will be featured in the sale. Highlights include Arts & Crafts ceramics, decorative arts, and ephemera, including property from the collection of Roger S. Wieck and Jean-Francois Vilain and sold to benefit the Morgan Library & Museum; a selection of fine jewelry and watches including a pendant and brooch by Ruud Kahle, Tiffany and style bronze and art glass items, American Brilliant Period cut crystal dishes by Hawkes in the Oriental pattern, a pair of monumental cathedral amethyst geodes, a Val Bertoia sound sculpture, and much more.
