The auction house’s description
Hudson Valley Antiques Collector Auction brings together 463 lots with a strong concentration of porcelain, ceramics, fine art, jewelry, gemstones, crystal, and collector pieces. Royal Doulton is especially well represented with Bunnykins figures, character jugs, prototype and special colorway pieces, while additional ceramics and porcelain include Wedgwood, Lladro, Boehm, McCoy, Lenox, Beswick, Belleek, Mikasa, Royal Albert, and Crown Staffordshire.
Fine art and decorative works range from a Georges Braque Tithonos sculptural panel and conversational art table and an Erte signed serigraph to prints, paintings, sculpture, and mixed media. Japanese material includes woodblock prints by artists such as Utagawa Hiroshige and Utagawa Kunisada, along with numerous hanging scrolls, calligraphy works, books, and documents. The catalog also features Swarovski crystal, stemware, silver and silverplate, pottery, folk art, snuff bottles, decorative objects, and sculpture.
Jewelry offerings include 14K and 18K gold pieces, opal and diamond rings, pearl and diamond jewelry, costume jewelry, and an extensive selection of loose gemstones. Multiple IGI-certified diamonds appear alongside aquamarine, citrine, garnet, topaz, tourmaline, sapphire, opal, and other stones. Rounding out the auction are designer clothing and accessories, Kenner Starting Lineup sports figures, American Girl and other dolls, Disney collectibles, books, advertising and paper ephemera, coins, watches, and vintage collectibles.
