Collector’s Cabinet of Rare Delights brings together 443 lots led by an extensive selection of Lladro porcelain. The catalog spans elaborate limited editions, figural groups, busts, vases, animals, clowns and harlequins, dancers, musicians, children, holiday subjects, and decorative works. Highlights represented in the catalog include Celestial Journey, The Landau Carriage, Japanese Elegance, Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, Beethoven, Young Mozart, Pegasus, and numerous Lladro works accompanied by bases, certificates, or original boxes.
Crystal and European decorative arts add another substantial dimension, with Swarovski crystal animals, aquatic subjects, annual and SCS pieces, ornaments, and display groups joined by Waterford crystal. Royal Doulton bone china and porcelain figurines and character jugs are complemented by examples from Lenox, Dresden, Volkstedt, Rosenthal, Fenton, Royal Worcester, Wedgwood, and Nao by Lladro. The catalog also features Thomas Blackshear Ebony Visions figures, including The Prayer, Serenity, The Heirs, and The Tender Touch.
Rounding out the auction is a broad collection of loose gemstones encompassing amethyst, citrine, emerald, garnet, aquamarine, peridot, sapphire, topaz, tourmaline, tanzanite, quartz, jasper, moonstone, pearl, spinel, and other stones in an array of faceted cuts and cabochon forms.
