Nation’s Attic is proud to present its Diving Into History – Winter 2026 Auction on Saturday, December 5, 2026. This exciting sale brings together an outstanding selection of antique and vintage diving helmets, rare diving equipment, Japanese swords, and collectible vintage lead toy soldiers.

The auction features an impressive assortment of 19th- and 20th-century copper and brass diving helmets from notable makers including Morse, Schrader, John Date, Miller Dunn, Snead, and Joe Savoy. Highlights also include rare United States Navy Mark V diving helmets and a diverse selection of Asian diving helmets. Collectors will discover an assortment of scarce diving equipment and accessories representing the history of commercial and military diving.

Beyond the diving collection, the catalog includes a desirable selection of antique Japanese swords, including katana, wakizashi, and military swords. Highlights include signed blades, distinctive fittings, and examples accompanied by Japanese authentication papers. An interesting selection of vintage lead toy soldiers rounds out the sale.
