Day one of our Fall Exceptionelle sale will include over 400 lots spanning five centuries of painting, printmaking and photography — our largest fine art offering of the year. Led by Picasso, Dali and Man Ray, with Benjamin West, Jacopo Bassano, Madrazo, Diaz de la Pena, Alberto Vargas, Andre Lanskoy, Robert Indiana, James Rosenquist, Jim Dine, Al Hirschfeld, Milton Glaser, Leonor Fini, Erte, Dorothea Lange and Ansel Adams. Old Masters through Barbizon, Impressionism, Modernism and Pop — five centuries in a single day.

Also included: Charles Joshua Chaplin’s ‘Young Girl with a Cat, ‘ Lebedev gouaches, Old Master oils by Jacob de Wet and Goltzius, Barbizon landscapes by Daubigny and Rousseau, Monticelli and Lanskoy canvases, Kandinsky and Survage abstractions, Mucha and Erte graphics, Piranesi etchings, and a strong photography section led by Lange and Adams. Etchings, lithographs, oils on canvas and panel, and works on paper.
