Description
Antique 19th-century percussion muzzleloading long rifle featuring a long octagonal-style barrel, dark walnut-colored hardwood stock, percussion hammer and side-mounted lock mechanism, fixed sights, iron trigger guard with decorative rear extension, and wooden ramrod positioned beneath the barrel. The rifle displays traditional American long rifle styling with an extended forearm, slender barrel profile, and gently curved shoulder stock. The percussion ignition system is characteristic of firearms manufactured or converted during the mid-19th century. No clearly legible manufacturer identification was observed in the supplied photographs. The rifle's exact maker, caliber, and manufacturing date remain undetermined.
