Description
The 2007 Sacagawea $1 GEM Proof is certified by NGC and features the iconic portrait of Sacagawea carrying her infant son, Jean Baptiste, on the obverse. First introduced in 2000, the Sacagawea dollar honors the Shoshone woman who played a significant role as a guide and interpreter during the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Proof examples feature specially struck finishes that highlight the coin’s detailed design.
