Attributed Cedar Mesa Eagle Miniature Pot

This miniature pottery jar presents well overall with light surface wear from display and storage. The underside exhibits heavier wear, discoloration, and residue that obscure the remaining signature.

The jar has a glossy black finish decorated with a painted Southwestern landscape featuring a silhouetted horse, bald eagle, evergreen trees, mountains, water, a stylized teepee, and bold geometric motifs. It measures approximately 2 1/2" tall.

The form, decoration, and dimensions closely resemble miniature pieces produced by Cedar Mesa Pottery, including its Sacred Messenger designs. However, the worn signature prevents confirmation of the maker, individual artist, or tribal affiliation.
