Modified Altec Lansing Model 14 Loudspeakers

A pair of two-way studio monitors featuring Altec Lansing Model 14 Mantaray horn assemblies and crossovers housed in hardwood veneer cabinets. These high-fidelity units have been modified with 12-inch JBL GT Series automotive subwoofers.The upper control plates are printed with Altec Lansing branding, EQ dials, and an overload test button. The rear of the left cabinet includes a round terminal plate marked for 8 ohms, while the right cabinet retains a label certifying thenatural grain hardwood veneer construction.The walnut veneer cabinets show authentic character with scuffs and finish wear (photos 2-4). Grill work shows some cosmetic wear in addition to some repair (photo 1). One rear terminal plate is missing with exposed wiring (photo 13).
