Description
Pioneering Build: The T-40 (alongside its guitar counterpart, the T-60) made history as the first production line instruments built using CNC machinery. This manufacturing style allowed Peavey to offer incredibly precise, high-quality USA builds at a fraction of Fender or Gibson's prices at the time.Heavy Materials: Built primarily with heavy northern ash or poplar body woods, the T-40 is famous in the bass community for its extreme weight. Most examples weigh between 11 and 13 pounds, making them exceptionally durable "workhorse" instruments. Headstock number #01518724. Comes in peavy case.
