This lot features an 1856 Liberty Seated Quarter, a classic example of early American silver coinage. A great addition for collectors of historic U.S. coins and those building a Liberty Seated series collection.
Minted from 1838 to 1891, the Liberty Seated Quarter was designed by Christian Gobrecht and features Liberty seated on the obverse. Composed of 90% silver, these quarters were produced during a significant period of American history and remain collectible for their age, design, and connection to 19th-century U.S. coinage.
