This lot features an 1916-P Silver Barber Quarter from the Philadelphia Mint. As the final year of the Barber Quarter series, this coin represents the closing chapter of one of America’s classic silver coin designs.
Minted from 1892 to 1916, the Barber Quarter was designed by Charles E. Barber and features Liberty wearing a laurel wreath and cap on the obverse. Composed of 90% silver, these quarters were widely circulated during their era and remain popular among collectors for their historic design, age, and connection to early 20th-century U.S. coinage.
