Description
Marlin Model 1894CB "Cowboy Limited" Lever-Action Rifle — .45 Colt, 24" Barrel
Offered here is a Marlin 1894 Cowboy Limited lever-action rifle, chambered in .45 Colt. The barrel is clearly roll-marked "1894 COWBOY LIMITED — THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO. NORTH HAVEN, CT. U.S.A." along with "MODEL 1894CB — CAL. 45 COLT," flanked by decorative star/flower stampings.
The seller says it is unfired. We can not confirm or deny this statement, however, it is in amazing condition and exhibits little to no wear.
Features:
Lever-action design with a two-tone finish — a satin-finished receiver paired with a deep blued octagonal-style round barrel and magazine tube
Straight-grip walnut stock and forend with sharp diamond-point checkering
Adjustable buckhorn-style rear sight and a brass bead front sight, typical of the Cowboy series built for Cowboy Action Shooting
Classic saddle-ring style lever loop, sized for quick cycling
Smooth, attractive wood grain with only minor handling marks visible on the stock
This is a desirable variant among Marlin collectors and Cowboy Action Shooting enthusiasts alike, combining traditional lever-gun styling with the straightforward reliability the 1894 platform is known for.
