Description

1910-S Lincoln Cent, struck at the San Francisco Mint. This early Lincoln Wheat Cent is a desirable issue for collectors building a date-and-mint collection. Please review the photos for the exact condition, color, luster, surfaces, and overall appearance.

The Lincoln Cent was introduced in 1909, featuring Victor David Brenner’s portrait of Abraham Lincoln on the obverse and the classic wheat-ear reverse. The 1910-S was among the early San Francisco issues and is notably scarcer than the Philadelphia-minted 1910 cent.

The 1910-S had a mintage of 6,045,000 coins. It was struck in 95% copper and 5% tin and zinc, weighs approximately 3.11 grams, and measures about 19 mm in diameter. The “S” mint mark appears below the date on the obverse.
