M-1938 SS Standard Bearer's Gorget

The gorget is approximately 7.75" across X 4.25" wide. It features a large burnished SS eagle in the center, with a roundel in each upper corner which feature SS Sig-Runes. It retains approximately 95% of its original uncleaned finish, with some light patina and minor scuffs. The back features green-gray wool, and it retains all three of its original mounting prongs. The center prong is correctly marked "RZM M 1/128" (Eugen Schmidthausler). The neck chain is not present, and it is housed in a non-period half gorget box. A rare example which is in overall very good+ condition. Please be sure to review all photos.
