Description
Marc Chagall (French/Russian)
Mixed media painting depicting a vibrant, dreamlike composition with floating figures, musicians, animals, and symbolic scenes arranged across a richly colored background dominated by reds, purples, and blues. Central elongated figures and narrative vignettes create a surreal, poetic atmosphere.
Marc Chagall was a pioneering modern artist known for his lyrical, imaginative works blending folklore, religion, and personal symbolism. His compositions often feature floating figures, vivid color, and dreamlike storytelling, making him one of the most distinctive voices of 20th-century art.
