Contemporary School, Landscape

This is an original acrylic painting on a vertical stretched canvas, depicting a tranquil landscape. The composition focuses on a central waterway that recedes into the distance, flanked by stylized, dark green trees. The sky displays a dramatic gradient, shifting from a deep navy blue at the upper portion to lighter blue and pale yellow-green tones toward the center. The artist utilized expressive, visible brushwork throughout, with scumbled application in the sky and thick, vertical strokes characterizing the foliage. The painting is executed on a gallery-wrapped canvas with painted edges and lacks a visible signature on the front or reverse. Green adhesive tape on the side and verso includes handwritten notations identifying the medium as acrylic and the dimensions as 15 x 30. Condition: The artwork is in good condition, exhibiting no visible paint loss, surface damage, or craquelure. The canvas remains taut on its wooden stretcher frame.
