Description
This Smith & Wesson Model 66-4 double-action/single-action revolver is chambered in the powerful and enduring .357 Magnum cartridge and represents one of Smith & Wesson’s most beloved stainless-steel revolver families. Serial number BSC8145, this example features an approximately 6" barrel with a shiny bore and remains in good overall condition. The stainless-steel frame, cylinder, and barrel provide the classic appearance associated with the Model 66, while handsome Smith & Wesson wood grips add warmth and traditional styling to the revolver. The longer 6" barrel gives the firearm a particularly well-balanced, substantial appearance. A leather holster is also included, completing the classic revolver package. Introduced during the 1970s as a stainless-steel counterpart to the famous Model 19, the Model 66 became popular with law enforcement officers, sportsmen, and revolver enthusiasts. The 66-4 represents an interesting chapter in that long production history. With its desirable .357 Magnum chambering, 6" barrel, factory-style S&W wood grips, and leather holster, this is an appealing revolver for the Smith & Wesson collector or classic handgun enthusiast.
