Description
Step back into the late 1990s with this 1998 United States Mint Premier Silver Proof Set, featuring specially struck proof coins with polished surfaces and frosted design details. The set includes the year's silver-clad and silver issues presented in the original U.S. Mint packaging.
The United States Mint's annual proof sets are popular with collectors for their specially prepared proof strikes, which are produced using polished dies and specially treated planchets to create a sharp, highly detailed appearance. The 1998 Premier set represents a piece of modern U.S. Mint collecting history and makes an attractive addition to any proof set collection.
