This blue-grey canvas rucksack features two front pockets and integral leather shoulder straps, constructed for Luftwaffe issue during the Third Reich era (1933-1945). Marked clearly with the date 1939 and the maker "M. Thielemann Leppersdorf-Radeberg," the bag reflects patterns supplied to paratroopers and ground divisions alike. The leather components show heavy wear, and the canvas displays fraying and a small tear on one side, with minor staining present.
