Description
This openwork circular cast bronze wreath frame measures 12 1/2 inches in diameter. The obverse features a sculpted relief of overlapping oak leaves joined at the base by a tied ribbon bow. The reverse shows a flat, file-finished back with a single threaded mounting screw attached near the upper rim, designed to mount around a central plaque or insignia plate. The dark patinated metal surface exhibits natural verdigris build-up, light oxidation, and surface wear consistent with age.
