IMPORTANT AUCTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By bidding with our auction company, you are agreeing to the following.

The successful bidder has one day to remove all items from the unit(s) by appointment with the storage facility on either Thursday, October 1, 2026, or Friday, October 2, 2026 during daytime business hours at Batavia Self Storage. All items must be removed, and the unit broom cleaned before 4pm on the day chosen. The buyer will not be permitted to remove the contents over the course of both days. Buyers are required to respect the hours and rules of the storage unit facility during the removal of contents. There may not be 24-hour access to the facility, so plan accordingly. The buyer must bring any loading help, tools, and packing materials needed to entirely clean out the unit in one day. Failure to remove all contents and leave the unit broom clean will be subject to a disposal fee and may affect the bidder's ability to bid in future auctions. -ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Everything is sold "AS IS" with no guarantees, exchanges, returns, credit, or refunds unless otherwise stated by the auctioneer. It is the bidder's responsibility to assure themselves of the condition of items before bidding. If Bontrager Real Estate & Auction Service agrees to provide a guarantee, all refunds, exchanges, and returns must be requested within 7 days of the customer taking possession of the merchandise. Requests after that point may be denied. Bontrager Real Estate & Auction Service reserves the right to refuse refund requests for any item that has left the auction site and may have been altered or damaged after it has left. No chargebacks are allowed.

-CONDITION REPORTS given by the staff of Bontrager's Auction Service are subjective; while we strive to be honest and thorough, we will not be held responsible or liable for any errors in description. Buyers are responsible for examining and/or obtaining adequate information about the item before bidding. Bontrager Real Estate & Auction Service does not accept responsibility for the buyer's failure to examine or obtain adequate information. Merchandise is not subject to adjustments once the item has been sold.

-QUANTITY: Your bid will be multiplied by the quantity of the lot you are bidding on. Bidders are expected to read descriptions and quantities carefully. There are no refunds, returns, or exchanges for failure to read and understand descriptions and quantities.

-LIABILITY: Bontrager Real Estate & Auction Service and its staff will not be held responsible or liable for any errors in absentee/left bids or phone bids, nor for the possible failure to execute any bids for any reason.
