Description
SERIAL NUMBER: 979205. BARREL: 5". CALIBER: .45 ACP. MANUFACTURED: 1943. Part of the first series produced by Ithaca, with the dark gray finish. "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and "M 1911A1 U.S. ARMY" on the right side of the frame, in addition to a wheel cartouche. "ITHACA GUN CO.,INC/ITHACA.N.Y." marked on the left side of the slide. "FJA" marked on the left side of the frame, in addition to a "P" under the magazine release. "P" marked on the slide, in front of the rear sight. Correct "HS" High Standard marked barrel. Standard sights. Factory finish and fiber checkered brown grips. Includes a blued steel magazine, with a "C-L" on the lip. CONDITION: Metal retains 97% finish with a few handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Magazine is excellent. Operates normally. C&R 27-222
