Provenance: Private collection, Palm Beach, Florida.

Visual Description: A freestanding shaped sculpture in the form of a crawling figure with a large round head, painted bright red on all sides. Both faces are covered edge to edge in dense black line work of zigzags, dots, wavy lines, crosses and maze-like angular glyphs. Small figures with radiating lines appear within the pattern on the front. A bold black outline follows the contour of each face, while the edges are left solid red with visible brushstrokes. The back carries its own independent pattern of glyphs, crosses and wavy bands. The work bears an inscription reading “K. Haring 82” with a circled cross symbol in black along the top edge. This composition reflects stylistic elements commonly associated with major figures in modern and contemporary art.
