Manufactured in the late 1980s under Sako's premium AV (A5) long-action designation in Finland, this heavy-duty sporting rifle represents a pinnacle of old-world European craftsmanship. Built on a robust, glass-smooth repeating mechanism featuring a signature integral dovetail optics rail and a crisp factory adjustable trigger, it is chambered in the punishing, ultra-high-velocity .300 Weatherby Magnum cartridge. It pairs a premium hammer-forged barrel with highly figured wood furniture built to absorb stout magnum forces. This high-end hunting firearm arrives beautifully paired with a pre-mounted Nikon rifle scope, offering an optics-ready configuration optimized for flat trajectories and extreme downrange energy transfer on big game tracking.
