Manufactured in Eibar, Spain by Gabilondo y Cia, this classic 1911-pattern semi-automatic pistol brings standard military-style ergonomics to the economical 9mm Parabellum cartridge. A distinctive example of Spanish craftsmanship, it features an integrated ventilated rib running along the top of the slide for an enhanced sight plane, paired beautifully with traditional checkered wooden grip panels. It retains standard safety redundancies, including both a manual thumb safety toggle and a mechanical beaver-tail grip safety mechanism. Offering a robust all-steel construction that serves as a historic, budget-friendly alternative to traditional domestic 1911s, this export model represents a reliable crossover of American design and Spanish industrial heritage.
