Description
A collection of four ice hockey memorabilia items. The group includes a hardcover book titled Team Canada 1972: Where Are They Now? by author Brian McFarlane, featuring a dust jacket with team portraits from the 1972 Summit Series. The second item is a wood-mounted plaque titled Wayne Gretzky Thanks For The Memories!, which displays a chronological arrangement of team jerseys worn by Gretzky from 1978 through 1999. The plaque includes an official NHL Licensed Product logo, a WGA Authentic logo, and a holographic Coolest Game on Earth authentication sticker with serial number H1/042072. Also included are two NHL All-Stars 2001 Stamp and Medallion sets produced by Canada Post. One set commemorates Detroit Red Wings goaltender Terry Sawchuk and the other commemorates Boston Bruins defenseman Eddie Shore. The sets are contained in silver-toned decorative tins with bilingual French and English labeling. Width of plaque approx 11.5 inches (approx 29 cm) measured against a ruler. Condition: The Wayne Gretzky plaque is preserved in its original shrink wrap with cardboard corner protectors. Both NHL All-Star stamp sets remain sealed with their original holographic tamper-evident stickers. The hardcover book includes the original dust jacket and shows no significant damage.
