Description

This collection features an assortment of metal fishing lures, including various spinner and spoon designs. A highlighted piece is a Mepps Aglia Long size 3 spinner, featuring a gold-finished willow blade with a red and white branded sticker on the face. The reverse of this blade is stamped Aglia Made in France. The lure body is constructed with a wire shaft, yellow and red plastic beads, and a brass weight, ending in a steel treble hook. The lot also includes a large silver-tone spoon lure featuring six circular perforations along one side and an iridescent holographic strip printed with Nasty Boy and a red eye graphic. A double-bladed spinner in the group is stamped Lucky Strike Canada on both the copper-tone and silver-tone blades; it includes red plastic beads and a treble hook dressed with orange, yellow, and red feathers. Also present is a teardrop-shaped hammered metal spoon lure with a green and blue gradient finish and black spots on the front, and a silver-tone honeycomb faceted pattern on the back. The collection is completed by a smaller, angular iridescent lure with a faceted multi-colored finish. Each lure is equipped with a metal treble hook. Dimensions (approximate, measured against a visible tape measure showing inches only): Nasty Boy spoon total length: 13.7 cm (5.4 inches) Lucky Strike spinner total length: 8.1 cm (3.2 inches) Mepps spinner total length: 5.1 cm (2 inches) Hammered spoon total length: 9.1 cm (3.6 inches). Condition: The lures exhibit signs of use including surface scratches, tarnishing, and areas of oxidation on the metal surfaces and treble hooks. The large silver-tone spoon shows some mottled discoloration on its reverse. The holographic stickers and painted finishes show light surface abrasions. The feather dressing on the Lucky Strike spinner remains largely intact despite minor wear.
