Description
Condition: New. Genuine Azurite druze crystal in matrix sourced from Morocco. Measures approx. 72x69x30mm and shown under LED lighting. Azurite is a copper carbonate mineral that forms in masses, stalactites, botryoidal, and short prismaticcrystals, often found in association with Malachite and Chrysocolla. In crystal form, Azurite is extremely rare and highly valued for its deep blue color, first named in 1824 by F.S. Beaudant. Historically, Azurite was used in Ancient Egypt for pigments, medicinal purposes, and copper smelting. This specimen displays rich shades of blue and natural crystal growth, making it ideal for collectors, display, or study. Note: Stock photo from inventory.
