Description
pair of hand-painted ceramic Amish couple figurines. This classic folk art set features a traditional husband and wife dressed in matching slate blue and white plain attire. The man stands with his arms crossed wearing a traditional black brimmed hat and suspenders, while the woman stands gracefully with her hands clasped in her apron and bonnet. Both feature a glossy glazed finish and are incised with mold numbers "SA 82" and "SA 83" on their hollowed undersides.
