Description
This large earthenware slop jar features the Torquay form with a matching domed lid and scrolling handles. It is decorated with a shaded green glaze and floral violet motifs. The base has a banner mark reading HAYNES above a shield readingBALTO and a design patent date. Measures 15 inches tall by 14 inches wide at the tips of the handles.The jar shows overall crazing and moderate wear to the gilded accents. The lid is as shown with a visible chip and hairline crack.
