Description

Collection of eight vintage wildlife foil-etched art prints attributed to renowned American wildlife artists Richard E. Bishop and Reinhold H. Palenske. These colorful sporting and nature illustrations feature pheasants, ducks, quail, deer, hunting dogs, and freshwater fish in detailed outdoor landscapes. Each print features metallic foil accents that enhance the artwork with a reflective finish and is presented in a white mat, making the collection suitable for framing and display.
The collection includes four prints attributed to Richard E. Bishop: Ready for Landing (bluebill ducks), Time to Move (flying pheasants), Flushed (bobwhite quail), and Settling Down (mallard ducks). Four additional prints are attributed to Reinhold H. Palenske: Ringneck Riser (flying pheasant), An Early Riser (largemouth bass), Right on the Nose (English setters), and Bit of Paradise (buck and doe at a river). The accompanying handwritten inventory identifies the prints as artist-signed, although the signatures have not been independently authenticated.
Artwork measures approximately 8" x 10" each, according to the accompanying inventory. The prints are unframed and mounted in white mats, with assorted signs of age, handling, and storage, including possible mat discoloration and minor edge wear. An appealing collection for enthusiasts of vintage sporting art, wildlife illustrations, hunting and fishing memorabilia, and traditional lodge or cabin décor. See photos for condition, signatures, and details.
