Description
Charming assortment of vintage Johnson Brothers "The Friendly Village" dinnerware, made in England, featuring the beloved multicolored transferware pattern depicting picturesque English countryside scenes, rustic cottages, and traditional village landscapes. This classic pattern is highly collectible and known for its detailed seasonal imagery and warm, earthy color palette.
The collection includes a large covered soup tureen (ladle not included), six teacups, and three soup bowls. Also included is an additional bowl in the "Yorkshire" pattern by Staffordshire Lionstone, featuring a complementary traditional English-style design. Please note that the Yorkshire bowl is not part of the Johnson Brothers Friendly Village pattern.
An appealing assortment for collectors of vintage English transferware, Johnson Brothers china, traditional dinnerware, and cottage-style table settings. These pieces would make attractive additions to an existing Friendly Village collection or serve as replacement pieces for an incomplete set. Condition has not been independently assessed. See photos for condition, markings, and details.
