Description
MALEEV AND MACK.
Dark Horse’s creator-driven corner of the 2010s is represented in this signed trio: Fight Club 2 #1 by David Mack, Abe Sapien #1 by Mike Mignola, and Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. 1952 #1 by Alex Maleev with a Midtown Comics COA. Mack’s Fight Club cover is a watercolor bruise-portrait of the Narrator, tape across the brow and the line “some imaginary friends never go away.” Mignola’s Abe Sapien $1 issue shows the amphibious agent standing over coral and bone, the signature joined by sketched B.P.R.D. block letters. Maleev’s 1952 one-shot gathers Hellboy and the early Bureau on a rain-slick tarmac beneath a parked aircraft. All three copies are bagged with clean covers and clear artist signatures.
