1880 Indian Head Cent

1880 Indian Head Cent. Designed by James B. Longacre, the Indian Head Cent features a portrait of Liberty wearing a Native American headdress on the obverse and an oak wreath with shield on the reverse. The 1880 issue was struck during the later years of the series and represents a classic example of 19th-century U.S. copper coinage. With its historic design, long circulation history, and enduring popularity among collectors, this Indian Head Cent is a great addition to any classic U.S. cent collection.
