Description
1881 Indian Head Cent. Designed by James B. Longacre, the Indian Head Cent remains one of the most recognizable and collected coins in American numismatics. The obverse features Liberty wearing a Native American headdress, while the reverse displays an oak wreath with shield surrounding the denomination. Struck during the late 19th century, the 1881 issue is a classic example of U.S. copper coinage and a popular choice among collectors building a complete Indian Head Cent collection.
