Description
Lot of (2) 1953 Two-Dollar Red Seal Notes, featuring classic U.S. United States Notes with distinctive red Treasury seals and serial numbers. These vintage $2 notes are popular with collectors of historic American paper currency. Please review the photos for the exact series, signatures, serial numbers, star-note status, grade, and overall condition.
The 1953 $2 Red Seal features Thomas Jefferson on the obverse and the Monticello vignette on the reverse. Unlike Federal Reserve Notes, these notes were issued as United States Notes, identified by their red Treasury seals and red serial numbers.
