VTG Suede Leather Vest

A vintage sleeveless vest dating from the circa 1970s, reflecting the bohemian styles of the era. The garment is crafted from mustard yellow suede leather and features a handcrafted construction with decorative whipstitching along the neckline, front openings, armholes, and hem. This stitching is executed with narrow leather thongs in a matching colour. The vest is designed with an open front and includes two simple leather thong ties at the chest for closure. The interior is unlined, showing the natural reverse texture of the hide. No manufacturer, designer, or care labels are present. Dimensions (measured against a tape measure): Chest (flat): approx. 47 cm (18.5 inches) Length: approx. 55 cm (21.5 inches). Condition: The vest is in good vintage condition. There are signs of wear consistent with age, including minor surface marks and areas of light darkening to the suede nap, particularly around the edges and folds. The leather whipstitching remains intact throughout the garment.
