Description
A pair of Canadian Forces combat trousers manufactured from Olive Green (OG) 107 cotton sateen. This garment, produced in March 1967, features a reinforced circular seat patch and two large pleated cargo pockets on the thighs with buttoned flaps. The design includes two side slash pockets and a single rear pocket with a buttoned flap. The waist is adjustable via integrated olive drab webbing straps with metal friction buckles and is fitted with buttons for brace attachment. The fly closure is secured by buttons and includes internal cord loops for additional security. All buttons are of the standard large, flat, four-hole plastic type. A white fabric manufacturer label is stitched inside the waistband and contains the following printed information: Confection Frontenac Inc., St-Ephrem, Beauce, Que., TROUSERS MAN'S COMBAT, OG 107 GS "QUARP", MARCH 1967, SIZE 5 REGULAR M/M, INSEAM 31", WAIST 31.1" TO 35". Condition: The trousers are in used vintage condition, exhibiting visible fading to the cotton sateen fabric, most notably along the seams, pocket edges, and the reinforced seat area. Minor fraying is present around some buttonholes and the edges of the cargo pockets. All primary buttons appear to be present and intact.
