TWO GRENDEL PRINTS SIGNED BY GERHARD & DAVID...

PETERSEN.

Matt Wagner’s legendary assassin Hunter Rose lives again in this pair of signed Grendel art prints, each bearing a single creator signature. David Petersen’s color piece recasts the devil as a tuxedoed gentleman beside a massive Wagner Typewriter, the word GRENDEL stamped across the keys, a crimson rose hovering above Beowulf-tinged verse and a three-pronged fork in hand. Gerhard’s 2014 Baltimore Comic-Con print is a stark black-and-white portrait of the masked figure in an “I Flunked Anger Management” shirt, fists clenched, cross-hatched shadows and a purple convention border framing the image. Clean white stock, sharp linework, and prominent signatures make the two prints a compact, display-ready set for Grendel and independent-comics collectors.
