Description
The 1954 Franklin Half Dollar features Benjamin Franklin on the obverse and the Liberty Bell on the reverse, accompanied by a small eagle. Designed by John R. Sinnock, this series was minted from 1948 through 1963 and remains a classic of mid-century American coinage. Struck in 90% silver and 10% copper, the coin contains approximately 0.3617 troy ounces of silver. This 1954 issue offers both historical interest and precious metal content for collectors.
