Description
A pair of Canadian Forces MK III lightweight combat trousers, manufactured by Federal Pants Inc. and dated March 1987. The trousers are constructed from an olive drab green fabric and feature a button fly, reinforced panels at the seat and knees, and six pockets. These include two front slash pockets, two rear pockets with buttoned flaps, and two large bellows cargo pockets located on the thighs. The waistband is fitted with wide belt loops, additional buttoned attachment straps, and adjustable hook-and-loop side tabs. An internal white fabric label is stitched to the waistband, displaying the following information: FEDERAL PANTS INC. TROUSERS, COMBAT, LIGHTWEIGHT, MK III 8415-21-899-2512. The label specifies the size as X-SHORT X-SMALL, suited for heights from 61.0 inches to 63.5 inches and waist measurements from 23.5 inches to 27.5 inches. A NATO stock number of 7075-6070 is also listed. A handwritten blue ink mark is present over the waist size section of the label. Condition: The trousers are in good vintage condition, exhibiting general signs of service wear. There is noticeable wrinkling and minor fading to the fabric consistent with age and storage. All primary buttons and the interior identification label are present and legible.
